What brings you to therapy?
There are many reasons a person may seek out therapy. You may feel overwhelmed by a particular life circumstance or have reached a crisis point in a relationship. Sometimes an absence of meaning and joy is no longer sustainable. Feelings of shame and self criticism may shadow your experience in a way that causes repeated suffering. Wherever the discomfort lies, seeking a guide to walk with you can be a brave and profound step towards psychological growth and healing.
Hello, my name is Sam and I am training as a Psychosynthesis Psychotherapist. I am pleased to be able to offer reduced rate therapy during the next 12 months of my training.
I work within a psychospiritual context that draws on both eastern contemplative and western psychological traditions. I can offer a deeply compassionate space from which you can feel safe enough to enquire into the fullness of your experience. When we cultivate our capacity to hold the dark and painful parts of ourselves, our natural human movement towards wholeness is permitted. For this reason everything is welcomed in our work together. It is only when we feel safe enough to be all of ourselves can we reconnect to our essential qualities of ‘Being’ such as creativity, love, purpose and belonging.
